Job Description

Summary

Baylor College of Medicine is seeking an exceptional Advanced Practice Provider (APP) for the Section of Hematology/Oncology and the Dan L Duncan Comprehensive Cancer Center (DLDCCC), one of only three National Cancer Institute Comprehensive Cancer Centers in Texas. The DLDCCC provides compassionate and personalized, and multidisciplinary care to cancer patients through multidisciplinary collaboration while offering patients access to cutting-edge clinical trials.

The disease-focused and early phase clinical trial APP plays a pivotal role in the DLDCCC and is an ideal choice for individuals committed to improving the lives of cancer patients while advancing the field of cancer research. The successful candidate will work closely with our disease-focused medical oncologists to provide comprehensive care for their patients while identifying, assessing, planning, and coordinating services for patients participating in early phase clinical trials. Since the early phase clinical trials program is relatively new, most of this APP's effort will initially be devoted to patient care in the disease-focused oncology clinics. Over time, more of this APP's effort will be devoted to the early phase clinical trial program, but the APP will maintain an important role in the disease-focused clinics. Work hours will be Monday-Friday, 8AM-5PM.
