As a Program Manager IV, you will oversee and coordinate different related projects to ensure they benefit one another and meet business goals. Your duties will include but are not limited to:

  • Managing the implementation and maintenance of designated programs.

  • Planning, developing and maintaining systems and procedures.

  • Acting as a liaison between department and outside communities.

  • Serving as a coach and mentor for other positions in the department.

  • Participating in the budgetary process.

Responsibilities:

  • Manages all aspects of and provides a single point of contact for assigned projects.
  • Leads/manages multiple medium to large size projects, leveraging advanced project management tools to deliver results.
  • Achieves operational objectives by contributing information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews.
  • Prepares and completes action plans Implements production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards. Resolves problems.
  • Completes audits. Identifies trends.
  • Determines system improvements and implements change.
  • Meets financial objectives by participating in developing forecasting requirements.
  • Participates in preparing an annual budget, scheduling expenditures.
  • Analyzes variances and initiates corrective actions.
  • Sets and continually manages project expectations with team members and other stakeholders.
  • Enhances department and organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests.
  • Explores opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in business or related field.
  • Master’s degree preferred.

Certifications:

  • Project Management Certification (PMP) preferred.

Complexity of Work:

  • Experience creating and maintaining a project plan from inception through completion.
  • Effective relationship building skills are required.

Work Experience:

  • Minimum of five years project management experience in assigned area which may include experience in implementing and supporting a major IT system in a clinical or system analyst capacity, experience involving complex financial system applications, etc.
  • Offset: Master’s degree and four years of experience.

Physical Requirements:

  • Manual dexterity to operate office equipment.
  • May require periods of sitting, standing and the ability to walk to various locations throughout the health system to attend meetings.
  • Must have normal or corrected vision and be able to clearly communicate verbally by phone or in person.
  • Must have own transportation to travel to multiple sites.

Pay Range

Minimum hourly: $40.48

Maximum hourly: $61.74

The pay range displayed on this job posting reflects the anticipated range for new hires. While the pay range is displayed as an hourly rate, Cleveland Clinic recruiters will clarify whether the compensation is hourly or salary. A successful candidate's actual compensation will be determined after taking factors into consideration such as the candidate's work history, experience, skill set, and education.
