Position Description:

The School of Music is seeking applicants for a Temporary, Part-Time support position providing administrative support to the Dean’s Office.  

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Serve as frontline contact and provide reception for inquiries via in-person, phone, and email; resolving direct inquiries to appropriate School of Music staff or campus contacts.

• Greet and assist Dean’s Office visitors in a friendly and professional manner.

• Route and sort paper mail; oversee organization of both Mail and Print rooms.

• Place orders for equipment and supplies, ensuring adequate quantities of stocked items.

• Ensure printers in School are functioning properly and regularly stocked with paper.

• Assist business staff in making deposits to on-campus bank location.

• Maintain Calendar of Events on School of Music website and PDF

• Other duties as assigned.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Proficient in MS Outlook, Word, and Excel.

• Effective oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

• Comfortable working in a visitor facing, open office environment.

Compensation will be commensurate to candidate experience.
