An executive caregiver who excels in this role, will:

  • Develop strategic plans for nursing, including mechanisms to ensure quality and adherence to standards.

  • Lead design and implementation of assigned business plans.

  • Collaborate with hospital and medical staff to develop and measure performance standards.

  • Create continuous improvement environment promoting innovative patient care delivery and current research findings.

  • Develop and mentor nurse leaders and direct staff to achieve hospital goals, nursing objectives and nursing practice standards.

Minimum qualifications for the ideal caregiver include:

  • BSN and master’s degree in nursing, business administration, or healthcare administration

  • Registered Nurse (RN) license in state of Ohio

  • Minimum of 10 years of increasing experience in management and nursing service administration

  • Experience leading nurses and being an advocate for nursing

  • Must possess ability to work independently, meet deadlines, multiple demands and multi-task, and must work effectively with all healthcare disciplines

Preferred qualifications for the ideal caregiver include:

  • CNO level at a magnet system facility
