ROLE SUMMARY

The Head of Enterprise Product Management is a thought leader, partnering with cross-functional, agile teams to develop an integrated strategy, design, and roadmap of industry-leading digital platforms, products, and solutions. This leader would be responsible for designing and managing the lifecycle of our digital, technology, and analytics products and solutions, delivering value to our customers and driving access to Pfizer medicines for patients.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead the global reshaping of Pfizer’s customer-facing products and solutions to be engrained in the Digital Operating Model to drive consistency for key customers and stakeholders.
  • Define and establish pharmaceutical industry-leading vision and strategy with cross-functional business partner input, competitive intelligence, trends, business objectives.
  • Provide strategic direction to the product organization to drive competitive advantage and enable accelerated growth aligned with overall corporate strategy
  • Ensure the alignment of overall business and product strategies.
  • Create and implement processes and approaches to drive alignment and consistency across the product portfolio, where appropriate
  • Ensure product development work is prioritized to provide the greatest impact to customers, alignment with the strategy and positive financial results
  • Engage with CX team to drive improvements to ensure a compelling and engaging experience for customers
  • Attract, hire, develop and provide leadership to product team members, including product managers, product owners, product operations, offering managers, partnership managers, UX designers and researchers
  • Approve selection of the appropriate tools and systems to improve product team efficiency and effectiveness
  • Partner with Senior Level internal division/function stakeholders, and Digital and Technology teams to ensure that the solution fulfills the vision as defined.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferable
  • 20+ years of experience in Business Technology or related field
  • Demonstrated digital product experience
  • Track record of leading successful cross-functional efforts
  • Strong collaboration skills, with experience in bringing together cross functional teams, including senior leaders, to create a vision, drive transformation and deliver complex digital, technology, analytics products. 
  • Broad knowledge of the key factors that influence the Healthcare and Pharmaceutical industry. 
  • Knowledge of patient, physician, payer and health system preferences and engagement with the life science industry
  • Ability to articulate the strategic use of digital, analytics and technology to address external and internal customer needs and experiences
  • Product Management essentials and proven track record of delivering digital, technology and analytics products/solutions for internal customers effectively.
  • Strong financial and budget acumen.
  • Strengths in problem solving and issue-resolution.
  • Agile/Lean knowledge or experience.
  • Excellent executive presentation and communications skills; ability to quickly gain credibility with senior management.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience in the Pharmaceutical industry preferred
  • Degree / Experience in computer science, analytics, marketing, or related fields.
  • Significant experience developing and delivering digital, analytics and technology solutions in various industries.

PHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Collaborate and navigate in a heavily matrixed environment.
  • Ability to synthesize many ongoing complex requests to prioritize requirements, functions and features for greatest customer value.

NON-STANDARD WORK SCHEDULE, TRAVEL OR ENVIRONMENT REQUIREMENTS

U.S. and international travel ~20%.

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $239,300.00 to $398,900.00. In addition, this position is eligible for participation in Pfizer’s Global Performance Plan with a bonus target of 30.0% of the base salary and eligibility to participate in our share based long term incentive program.
