Job Description
Role Summary
The Manager, Portfolio & Operations will report to the Director, Portfolio & Operations and assist the Head of Portfolio & Operations on all operational activities impacting the AIDA organization.
This position will serve a horizontal function including Reporting, Project Management, Portfolio Management, Financial Management and ACD.
The Manager role will have a strong understanding of the AIDA and broader Digital organization. They will have a strong understanding of the interdependencies between siloed disciplines and the needs of the organization and can make recommendations for alignment and improvement. They will develop and manage processes and reports to ensure transparency and consistency while meeting the requirements of both the individual towers and leadership.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
Support financial processes within Pfizer Digital including the monthly close, Budget and LE submissions
Assist with monthly production of the Management Reports, including all portfolio and financial status, top projects, recent accomplishments, Highlight slides, and recognitions
Support Capital project processes including business case creation, budgeting/forecasting, monthly close and reporting requirements
Assist the Ongoing Cost Transfers process to ensure accuracy
Support AIDA portfolio operations to ensure all projects are captured within P3 and accurate
Assist with AIDA Governance, and portfolio management to ensure standardization across towers as needed
Build relationships with leaders and stakeholders across Digital and the creation centers to understand their goals and strategic direction and act as a key point of contact for all portfolio and reporting needs
Align solution tower requirements related to portfolio, finance, or reporting to overall creation center strategy
Foster engagement by increasing opportunities to embrace joy, equity, and transparency
Assist with all activities pertaining to colleague engagement as needed
Assist with ad hoc operational activities as they pertain to AIDA
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Applicant must have a Bachelor’s degree with five years of relevant experience; OR Master’s degree with three years of relevant experience; OR Associate's degree with eight years of relevant experience; OR Ph.D. with 0+ years of experience; OR 10 years of relevant experience with a high school diploma or equivalent
Comprehensive knowledge of Portfolio & Reporting practices
Experience in budgeting, forecasting, accrual, and reclass processes for both US and ex-US markets
Experience in managing business relationships
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience within Pfizer portfolio & financial processes preferred
Comfortable with cross-Digital disciplines and how they intersect
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Highly developed sense of responsibility and discretion
Demonstrated success in applying independent judgment
Proven ability to manage to financial goals
Ability to work comfortably with senior colleagues

NON-STANDARD WORK SCHEDULE, TRAVEL OR ENVIRONMENT REQUIREMENTS
Minimal travel, less than 10%. Ability to meet virtually with team members in other regions during off-hours as needed. Ability to attend collaborative events and foster independent networking on-site in Northeast US regional sites with little notice. Independent and self-motivated such that remote working is as productive as on-site activities.
