What You Will Achieve

You will help us in building our strength in analytics based reporting.  You will be relied on to design and manage the analytics based web-based reports on an enterprise-wide scale.

As a Director, you are a subject matter expert and leverage your knowledge of industry, customer requirements and general business environment to adapt and implement strategic actions for the division. Your ability to interpret your division's strategy will establish business priorities that support and set long-term direction for the division. Your managerial skills will help us manage and lead people, technological and financial resources within the division.

How You Will Achieve It

  • Set objectives and manage multiple projects within a division.
  • Lead/co-lead projects to meet objectives and plan resource requirements for projects across the division.
  • Deliver the project plan within agreed budget, quality and schedule goals.
  • Apply Information Technology capabilities and expertise including information management competencies, analytic, query, aggregation and data science tools to solve data analysis and business problems identified by scientists, researchers, clinicians or other biomedical business professionals.
  • Partner with Digital CP, Global AIDA service delivery functions to suggest improvements which increase the reliability and stability of Pfizer's analytical platforms.
  • Represent China data solutions on audit related activities working closely with the service delivery and Pfizer Digital Quality Control (QC) teams.
  • Lead an data solution team to ensure China commercial data solution delivery to enable analytics teams and report solutions for more than one thousand management level users and 4600+ thousand sales/marketing users.
  • Activate and inspire the team to work as best they are with proper People management skills.
  • Accountable for managing Data related budget properly.
  • Create and have readily available a response team to immediately act in the event of a cyber security event and partner closely with GIS to resolve any threats

Qualifications

Must-Have

  •  Bachelor's Degree in a relevant discipline and 15+ years of related pharmaceutical or healthcare experience required; or 13+ years of experience with advanced degree preferred with progressive leadership growth.
  • Demonstrated experience in working in a global, matrix organization
  • Proven ability to build coalitions and develop strong partnerships across functions
  • Exhibits a high level of business knowledge and understanding of the external marketplace and anticipates business line or sub-function customer requirements
  • Strong interpersonal skills and evidence of enabling teamwork in a matrix environment
  • Executive presence and ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization
  • Strong program management skills
  • Must have proven ability to manage communication as a vehicle to ensure alignment of strategies and day-to-day operations to team members and business unit partners in support of China commercial digital products, services and experiences.
  • Deep understanding Data relative technology and delivery methodologies
  • Strong people management experience
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
