What You Will Achieve

You will lead SFA delivery team that will deliver the next generation of technologies to support our China Commercial Digital CRM Products. These capabilities will support all commercial colleagues in China to drive more impactful interactions with Heath Care Professionals. The SFA Leader will be responsible for developing and managing world class Digital solutions to drive efficiency and effectiveness in china commercial area. The Lead will need to partner with Digital Client Partners, CMO and BU business leaders and functions across the enterprise to establish and deliver new capabilities that will provide a comprehensive and seamless user experience stitching together technology to match complex business processes. The ideal candidate will bring extensive global, and China, program delivery experience in a complex, regulated health care environment with a strong understanding of pharmaceutical commercial processes, and subject matter expertise in digital technology delivery. The Lead will have demonstrated world class leadership influencing and leading executive stakeholders through a complex implementation journey.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Defines the SFA strategic direction and has ultimate accountability including SFA team performance and financial management for Pfizer’s China Commercial SFA relative Digital Products, including defining the digital SFA strategy, developing and owning the technology roadmap, and building the relationships necessary across the organization to deliver on the strategy and roadmap.
  • Accountable for China digital SFA program delivery, with responsibility for business case, supporting key performance metrics and financial management for highly complex continuous delivery activities.
  • Lead, anticipate, and influence an environment of continuous improvement and innovation while continuously delivering highly complex solutions. As part of china cc team LT member, it is also accountable to influence areas outside SFA expertise, as an individual and as a member of a leadership team and is accountable for decisions within Division or Global Business Unit.
  • Is responsible for delivering a cross functionally developed technical talent base and for anticipating/preparing for the longer-term development needs within the products and solutions space.
  • Partners with customers, Business Partner teams, Technical Product Owners and/or organizational leadership to accomplish Global Business Unit and Enterprise-wide objectives.​ Influences senior management decisions that have an impact on business direction within this customer type.
  • Accountable for compliance including adherence to data privacy laws for SFA relative solutions
  • Accountability for technical development ensuring all Products are engineered to GIS standards and mitigate all risk including cyber.
  • Able to manage priorities, solve obstacles, make decisions, and drive impact in ambiguous and complex circumstances
  • Strategic mindset, highly responsible, self-motivated, strong sense of ownership and leadership

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline and 10+ years of related pharmaceutical or healthcare experience required;
  • 8+ years of experience in a leadership capacity, Rich experience in leading digital/IT projects and digital capability build-up, solid knowledge in risk and finance management and strong business acumen; familiar with supervising large projects and prioritizing issues with exceptional project management skills
  • Demonstrated ability to create and implement high impact strategic plans in a large, matrixed global organization.
  • High proficiency and proven successful delivery of experiences using Agile development, especially scaled agile and lean, techniques and methodologies (Disciplined Agile, SAFe, etc.)
  • Proven experience and high level SFA business knowledge and understanding of the external marketplace in order to anticipate Global Business Unit needs for commercial excellence specifically in China.
  • Must have proven experience in being an excellent, engaging leader and manager, with proven capabilities of managing talent inside and outside the organization and for improving diverse leadership bench strength.
  • ​Must have proven ability to manage communication as a vehicle to ensure alignment of strategies and Sprint operations to team members and business unit partners in support of China commercial digital products, services and experiences.
  • Demonstrated ability and experience in technology solutions delivery in a pharmaceutical or regulated environment in China with demonstrated capabilities managing large scale, enterprise software requirements definition, designs and implementations in global 24-by-7 environments.
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Information Management, Computer Science, Engineering or Technology Management preferred with related field and proven technical experience with emphasis on software development and maintenance.
  • VEEVA/SFDC tech stack are preferred.

NON-STANDARD WORK SCHEDULE, TRAVEL OR ENVIRONMENT REQUIREMENTS

Travel will be required as part of this role. Expectations around travel will vary but candidates must be capable of travel within the region, to other regions, and to Pfizer World Headquarters.

Business Technology is a 7x24x365 endeavor. This role may require physical or virtual participation on a weekend, holiday, or after normal business hours
