Location Overview:

Join our bustling Bromley office, situated in one of London’s greenest boroughs. Here you’ll find plentiful and easy commuting routes, with central London just 15 minutes away by train.

Role Description:

The individual will join the Change & Transformation organisation as the International Credit Product Owner supporting Tech Delivery and Platform Management. They will report directly to the EMEA Global Credit Operations Executive. The successful individual is required to have a solid background in platform, portfolio, change management ideally with an understanding of the Syndicated & Corporate Lending, Credit Fulfilment & Loan Servicing Operations, Leasing and Trade Finance Operations would be appreciated but not mandatory.

The team is split across various international locations and US sites. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the International Specialized Credit & Loan Servicing Operations in EMEA, APAC, LATAM and Canada. 

Responsibilities will include but not limited to:

  • Experience in leading teams through change & transformation.
  • Drive process improvements and sustain a risk-free environment.
  • Responsible for maximizing the value for a product.
  • Defines the vision and roadmap for the product, defining and prioritizing stories in the product backlog, and articulating this to both stakeholders and the development team.
  • Works closely with stakeholders to understand their needs, and with the Product Manager in a scaled Agile model to ensure there is alignment.
  • Possess a working knowledge of the product, and basic understanding of the business or technology domain.
  • With some guidance, creates the vision and roadmap for the product to align with strategic direction for the business or technology domain.
  • Reviews and accepts stories and is empowered to make on-the-spot decisions on scope and requirements.
  • Works in partnership with the team to ensure that optimum value is obtained through technology and through an advanced understanding of the business.
  • Responsible for proper communication and compliance with regulatory requirements.

  • You will have product taxonomy, & operating model experience,
  • You will have design validation & testing background.
  • You will be deadline focused and have experience in working in a fast-moving environment.
  • You will have an understanding and appreciation of risk appetite methodology and the bank risk culture

Skills that will help:

  • Scaled Agile model certification.
  • Ability to accurately handle platform & project health oversight.
  • Good communication and time management skills
  • Microsoft Office knowledge
