The Envirome Institute (EI) at the University of Louisville (UofL) is accepting applications for a full-time Research Technician I position. The EI houses several dynamic Centers and investigators across multiple UofL Departments and external collaborators in the fields of epidemiology, medicine, physiology, molecular biology, and biochemistry. This individual will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of investigators on epidemiology and environmental health projects in maternal and child cardiovascular health. This individual will manage human subjects research projects, conduct basic statistical analyses, ensure data quality, track human sample shipping/processing and analytical protocols, as well as coordinate database development. This position is renewable contingent upon funding.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Process and clean data.
Conduct basic statistical analyses.
Coordinate database development.
Maintain protocols and regulatory documents.
Track and manage biospecimens.
Preferred Qualifications
Master’s Degree and experience conducting human subjects research.
Experience working with data. Proficiency with MS Suite.

Compensation will be commensurate to candidate experience.
