Pharmacy Material Coordinator

As a Pharmacy Material Coordinator, you will procure and maintain pharmaceutical supply inventories, the distribution of stock, updating all systems to ensure prompt payments to vendors, and accurate documentation of inventory management.
A caregiver in this position works day/evening/night/weekend shifts from 12:00am - 11:30pm.
A caregiver who excels in this role will:
Ensure continuous supplies are maintained with little or no interruption.
Implement, manage, and maintain inventory systems to order, control, expedite, and inventory supplies to enhance the fiscal management of the department.
Monitor reports and available publications for insight into shortages and determine appropriate substitute items.
Provide information to technicians while carrying out inventory control function.
Maintain the proper and appropriate professional and ethical relationship with vendor representatives and conduct business according to established principles and guidelines.
Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:
Associate's degree or high school diploma/GED and three years of experience in a similar role.
Work history of using a computer.
Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) verified through the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB).
Certified Pharmacy Technician, Registered Pharmacy Technician or Pharmacy Technician Trainee with the Ohio Board of Pharmacy. Registration as a Certified Pharmacy Technician with the Ohio Board of Pharmacy is required within 6 months upon hire.

Physical Requirements:
- Ability to perform work in a stationary position for extended periods
- Ability to operate a computer and other office equipment
- Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information
- Ability to travel throughout the hospital system and, in some locations, off-site
- Must have own transportation due to travel to multiple sites.
