QA Automation Engineer
Job Description
Technical/Functional Skills
QA Lead who is familiar with healthcare information
technology solutions to support the Admissions, Billing, Collection and Patient
Registration systems. This QA lead is
responsible for working with Product Team and technical staff to gather user
and business requirements. This professional will focus on understanding the
business requirements; drive the analysis, test planning, design, and execution
of the solution.
Candidate should have experience with below functional areas
in Healthcare domain:
o Experience
in providing solutions to Healthcare software Products & Portals.
o Develop,
Support & Maintenance of Healthcare applications.
o Exposure
in Healthcare Messaging Standards (HL7, HIPPA etc.,) and Systems Coding (ICD,
CPT, LOINC, SNOMED) Standards.
o Knowledge
in Healthcare Provider Processes, Principles and Functions.
o Knowledge
in Payer contracting, insurance verification and re-verification as well as
treatment and medication authorization, EDI transaction sets (ie. 270/271), and
patient demographics.
o Automation
Testing (Jenkins, Selenium, UI Path, Automation Anywhere, Cucumber, TestNG, HP
Quick test professional, JMeter and Single view)
o Performance
Testing (Load Runner, Dynatrace Monitoring)
o Experience
in working multiple projects at the same time and delivered them successfully
o Involve
in various phases of software development life cycle like gathering
requirements, performing Impact
analysis, creating test documents, Requirement traceability matrix,
develop/review test scripts and executing test case
o Involved
in application optimization activities, use of appropriate testing tools, test
techniques, test automation and preparation of Quality documents.
o Innovating
Value-added Services, to improve system efficiency, reduce execution costs and
add more functionalities to the System Project Size Estimation, Planning,
Scheduling, Executing, Monitoring and Controlling the overall activities.
Experience Required
o 8-10
years of relevant experience in Healthcare software Products, Portals and
Healthcare applications Development, Support & Maintenance
· 8+
year’s experience as a QA lead/ SR QA analyst in IT projects
· Experience
with different software development life cycles (SDLC).
· Must
have experience using some Project Management methodology
· Must
have experience using a Change Control process
· Experience
with Project Management and Requirements Management tools is highly desired
• Experience
with latest technologies like .NET, Angular JAVA, Spring Boot, SQL Server,
Oracle and Sharepoint is a plus.
• Experience
in new transformation projects like Software Upgrades, Cloud migrations.
Roles & Responsibilities
• Play
onsite QA Lead role and Subject Matter Expert for the projects.
• Single
point of contact for all QA activities and onsite/offshore coordination to
Customer from TCS.
• Ramp up
the test teams by giving training on process and project requirements.
• Involved
in Review and Inspection of functional and technical specification and provided
the comments by representing the test team as a lead.
• Prepared
Master Test Plan, test estimations and also did test work break down structure
for task allocation in VSTF.
• Conducted
formal reviews and inspections for all test artifacts.
• Assigned
test tasks to each individual in the test team and conduct peer reviews and
meetings on daily basis to track issues closely.
• Coordinate
with the team in delivering all the test artifacts on time without any schedule
deviation or slippage.
• Contribute
extra efforts to select different approaches while system failures to meet the
dead lines.
• Participate
in all Scrum meetings conducted by customer on daily basis and updated the
status and backup the team members.
• Make sure
Team members complete the sprint goals that are allocated on daily basis.
• Managed
the test tasks and deliverables on team ramp down.
• Active
participation in technical and functional requirements discussions with the
team
• Represented
the test team in providing the status to the client in all weekly meetings.

in all requirement, technical discussions and provide QA estimations.

Salary Range: - $90,000 to $140,000 a year
