Job Summary
The Community Engagement Database Specialist will report to the Community Engagement Manager and oversee the configuration, maintenance, and optimization of all Community Engagement databases and impact reporting, ensuring they meet the needs of our organization. This position will also support our community partnerships and community engagement programming initiatives. Additionally, the Database Specialist will represent Community Engagement at promotional tables, involvement fairs, and campus presentations to raise awareness and increase constituent utilization of our community engagement tracking platform, programs, and initiatives.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
DATABASE MANAGEMENT: Oversee community engagement database systems, maintain the accuracy, consistency, and reliability of data inputs and outputs. Manage and facilitate the integration of GivePulse with other community engagement platforms used by universities and colleges. Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation and record keeping standards and related processes.

REPORTING AND ANALYSIS: Consistently produce standardized reports to support leadership decision-making, program development and tracking of community engagement metrics. Collaborate with leadership to develop and implement impact reporting process that highlights community engagement outcomes and program effectiveness.

COLLABORATION AND COMMUNICATION: Actively coordinate and/or participate in appropriate Augusta University committees, task forces, and professional associations, and conferences. Work cooperatively with other departments to effectively plan and improve communications around, adoption and utilization of community engagement software, and reporting resources.
STAKEHOLDER ENGAGEMENT AND SUPPORT: Provide primary support for stakeholders (community partners, students, student groups, and faculty/staff) in leveraging and utilizing community engagement databases. Develop training materials and conduct training on how to use the database effectively, ensuring comprehension and maximum utilization of its features and functionalities. Provide support for GivePulse platform to include assisting stakeholders with setting up profiles, reporting, creating training materials, conducting orientations and training sessions, and answering questions.
DATABASE ADOPTION AND UTILIZATION: Collaborate with college representatives and other stakeholders to address database-related organizational initiatives. Regularly assess the database's effectiveness and seek feedback to improve processes and user experience.
OTHER DUTIES: Perform all other job-related duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in a related field including (but not limited to) Business, Computer Science, Public Administration, or Nonprofit Management with a minimum of one year of progressive responsible experience in a similar role (community engagement, database management, higher education, community outreach, etc) developing and promoting collaborative partnerships and initiatives.
Preferred Qualifications
ADDITIONAL PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Expert level experience working with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint.
Experience and/or interest in community engagement, leadership development, nonprofit engagement, or social change management.
Prior GivePulse or other community engagement database experience.
A strong desire to work in a collaborative environment with various teams of stakeholders including faculty, staff, students, and community partners.
Prior Adobe InDesign, Adobe Illustrator, Canva, and/or related graphic design experience.
Demonstrated ability to work independently and collegially with staff and faculty.
Demonstrated ability to plan, organize, and execute complex events.

Shift/Salary/Benefits
Pay Band: B7
Salary Minimum: $42,200 - Midpoint: $52,700
Salary to be commensurate with qualifications of the selected candidate within the established range (generally minimum-midpoint) of the position
