Instock Program Manager, Amazon Fresh Grocery

The Amazon Fresh Grocery team is excited to welcome an Instock Program Manager to our dynamic team.

In order to be successful in as an Instock Program Manager, you need to be comfortable driving business decisions in an ambiguous work environment, interfacing and coordinating with various functional teams both internally and externally, and driving results through both quantitative and qualitative strategies. A successful candidate will be highly analytical, resourceful, customer focused, team oriented, and will have an ability to work with data independently under time constraints to meet deadlines. You will have a proven track record in taking on end-to-end ownership and successfully delivering results in a fast-paced and dynamic business environment. This role will include a mix of long-term strategic projects and short-term tactical tasks.

Key job responsibilities
- Work with internal stakeholders in category management, category instock, supply chain, operations, and product management to collaborate on supply chain improvement initiatives
- Meet with local store and vendor leadership to discuss opportunities and ensure the success of the Vendor Managed Inventory program
- Identifying automation opportunities, improving non-automated processes, and building to scale.
- Influence technical teams to drive adoption of standards and creation of tools to manage: inventory health, item-level forecasting, purchase order quality, vendor self-service, and supply chain operations
- Building and maintaining knowledge management tools

- 3+ years of supply chain, inventory management or project management experience
- Bachelor's degree, or 3+ years of professional or military experience
- Experience working with complex data sets
- Have a proven track record in taking ownership, driving results and moving with speed to implement ideas in a fast-paced online environment.
- Experience with process improvement techniques such as Kaizen, Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma
- Experience with SQL

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $66,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $141,100/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 3+ years of with Excel experience- 3+ years of supply chain, inventory management or project management experience
- Bachelor's degree, or 3+ years of professional or military experience
- Experience working with complex data sets
