Job Description
Automation BA
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Business Analyst role having experience focused on automation projects (RPA, GenAI, or workflow automation).
• Strong experience in process mapping, business requirements gathering, and functional specification creation.
• Familiarity with AI-driven automation solutions, machine learning, and other advanced automation technologies is a plus.
• Excellent understanding of business processes, workflow management, and the ability to identify opportunities for process improvement through automation.
• Ability to document and communicate complex technical solutions to non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience with Agile methodologies or Scrum is preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to interact effectively with business stakeholders, technical teams, and management.
• Proven ability to work in cross-functional teams and collaborate with both business and technical stakeholders.
• Conduct thorough process mapping, including current state (as-is) and future state (to-be) designs.
• Define business requirements for automation initiatives and work with technical teams to translate these requirements into functional specifications.
• Exposure to RPA tools (e.g., UiPath, Automation Anywhere, Blue Prism) or other relevant technologies.
• Lead workshops and interviews with business users to gather, document, and prioritize automation requirements.
• Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders to ensure business needs are understood and translated into actionable solutions.
• Serve as a liaison between business and technical teams, ensuring successful collaboration and alignment throughout the automation lifecycle.
• Support change management efforts by training end-users and creating documentation to ensure a smooth transition to automated processes.
• Ensure all stakeholders are informed about the change’s automation will bring and guide them through the adoption process.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of business requirements.
Salary Range- $90,000-$105,000 a year
