We are looking for an experienced Sr. Product Manager to lead our Voice, Search, and Topical Discovery efforts for Spoken Word audio in Amazon Music globally. You'll work across Amazon Music and Amazon overall to ensure our customers can easily locate content that interests them, whether they are typing in search terms, speaking to Alexa, or browsing through topics of interest. In this role, you will own the product vision and roadmap for each area globally. You will create, define, test, and iterate on new features and functionality that drive KPIs through a robust slate of ongoing experiments, partnering closely with design and engineering. You will lean into customer research and engagement data to prioritize and iterate on features, partnering closely with business intelligence to identify new ways to analyze and view data. You will partner closely with the Amazon Music Search Team, the Alexa Voice team, and other cross-functional teams to reduce friction for customers looking to discover the best in spoken word audio.
Key job responsibilities
• Own the Spoken Word Search, Voice & Topics Roadmap including feature definition, UX, tradeoffs and simplifiers
• Run lots of experiments— design, testing, A/B tests and analysis
• Analyze customer research and data, work with BI to create dashboards
• Global stakeholder management
• Create mechanisms to drive product alignment and decision making across tech teams, marketing, and other internal stakeholders
• Communicate with senior level executives
- 5+ years of technical product or program management experience
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product
- Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
- Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
- Experience managing technical products or online services
- Experience in representing and advocating for a variety of critical customers and stakeholders during executive-level prioritization and planning
- Experience performing statistical analysis of data using SQL, Excel and other tools
- Experience in optimizing search experiences
- AI/ML Experience with content classification technologies

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $136,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $235,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 2+ years of end to end product delivery experience- 5+ years of technical product or program management experience
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product
