Sr Manager, Product Development, Private Brands

If this sounds like you, then come join the Amazon Private Brands Product Development Team as our new Sr. Manager, Hardlines Product Development in charge of driving the product development strategy for our worldwide Private Brand business!
In this role, you will be responsible for:
• Defining the world-wide product assortment vision for Hardlines Private Brands in support of the organization’s 10yr vision
• Build and elevate organization capabilities to define product development roadmaps, and commercialize customer-loved products
• Drive process efficiency to drive best in class speed to market
• Partner with technical teams to use emerging technology to scale support program strategies.

- Leadership: demonstrated experience in leading and motivating cross-functional teams to achieve short and long termgoals and organizational objectives
- Communication: ability to build effective communications mechanism to ensure stakeholder, peers, partner teams and own team are inspired,engaged, and on the same page.
- Scale mindset: Always looking for opportunities to drive scaled solutions and communicate directly with the expert teams such as design, material and technical leaders.
This is a full-time position which may require domestic and international travel up to 25% of the time over the course of a year, along with the physical ability to lift up to 25 pounds, and perform regular movements including sitting, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, squatting, bending, and reaching.
- 6+ years of team management experience
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
- Experience with end to end product delivery
- Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $160,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $265,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 12+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience- 6+ years of team management experience
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
- Experience with end to end product delivery
- Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
