Job Description
Role: Researcher - Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning
Location Options: Bay Area - CA
Responsibilities:
Research and Development:
•Conduct cutting-edge research in AI and ML
•Explore and experiment with new machine learning techniques
•Develop novel AI solutions for complex problems across various industries
Algorithm Design:
•Design and implement novel algorithms for data analysis
•Improve the efficiency and scalability of existing models
Data Analysis:
•Collect, clean, and analyze large datasets to extract meaningful insights
•Perform exploratory data analysis to identify trends, anomalies and key features
Model Training & Evaluation:
•Train machine learning models on large datasets and optimize them for accuracy
•Conduct thorough evaluation and testing of models using appropriate metrics
Collaboration:
•Work closely with cross-functional teams, including software engineers
•Collaborate with other researchers and academic institutions
Publications & Presentations:
•Publish research findings in peer-reviewed journals and present at industry conferences
•Communicate complex research results to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Qualifications:
Educational Qualifications: -
A Ph.D. or master’s degree in computer science, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field with a strong focus on AI/ML.
Minimum of 10 years of total experience
Technical Skills: -
•Expertise in machine learning libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, Keras, Scikit-learn)
•Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C++, or Java
•Strong knowledge of mathematical concepts, including linear algebra, probability, statistics, and optimization techniques
•Contributions to AI/ML open-source projects or publications in top-tier journals or conferences
•Experience in cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) for model deployment
•Familiarity with large-scale distributed systems and data processing frameworks (e.g., Hadoop, Spark)
Experience:
•Strong research background, deep technical expertise in AI and ML
•Experience with deep learning, natural language processing (NLP), computer vision, or reinforcement learning
•Practical experience in designing and deploying ML models at scale
Soft Skills:
•Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for innovation
•Excellent written and verbal communication skills to explain complex concepts clearly
•Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Salary Range: $181,220 - $245,180
