Job Description
Cleveland Clinic’s new Neurological Institute, scheduled to open in 2026, will be a state-of-the-art facility that makes it easier to treat high-acuity patients - those suffering from brain tumors, strokes, and complex spine injuries – without them ever having to leave the facility. Part of the new Neurological Institute is a 210-bed inpatient area with enhancements that include modular spaces, floor-to-ceiling windows in all-private rooms, video technology to monitor patients, and a “touchdown” space with computer between every two rooms on our inpatient floors, and relaxing lavender rooms on each inpatient floor to offer our caregivers an area to decompress. Nurses play an integral role in the care of our patients at the Neurological Institute, and we are eager to welcome Inpatient RNs to our team.
The Neurological Intensive Care Unit on G20/H22 provides world-class care to complex neurological medical and surgical patients. The unit is certified as part of the Comprehensive Stroke Center within Cleveland Clinic’s nationally renowned Neurological Institute. The patient population includes young adults through geriatrics with diagnoses of conditions such as: ischemic and hemorrhagic strokes, subdural hematomas, status epilepticus/seizures, brain tumors, neuromuscular disorders and spinal injuries.
