Job Description

Summary

The Division of Pediatric Palliative Care at Baylor College of Medicine, in association with Texas Children's Hospital in the Texas Medical Center, is seeking a qualified board eligible or board certified physician in Pediatric Hospice and Palliative Medicine for a full-time Assistant Professor, Clinical Faculty Position. The Assistant Professor will join a robust division consisting of a full interdisciplinary team to provide palliative care inpatient and outpatient consultation for patients and families at Texas Children’s Hospital in Houston, TX. In addition, there will be opportunities for teaching and scholarship.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum Education: M.D. or D.O.
  • Minimum Job Experience: Related experience required
  • Minimum Certification/Licensed/Registration: Licensed by the Texas Medical Board.
  • The applicant must be board certified or board eligible in hospice and palliative medicine and pediatrics or a pediatric subspecialty.

Work Authorization Requirement:

This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States at the time of application and throughout the duration of employment.
