Job Description
Summary
The Baylor College of Medicine (BCM) Department of Pediatrics is currently seeking a physician to join the Division of Pediatric Pulmonology. The Division clinicians practice in the Texas Children's Hospital health care system. Texas Children's is the largest freestanding pediatric hospital in the country, and both the hospital and Pediatric Pulmonology Division are consistently ranked in the top five honor roll by US News World Report.
Professional Responsibilities include:
- Providing care in both the ambulatory and inpatient settings.
- Providing the highest standard of comprehensive clinical care for general pulmonary and other pulmonary pediatric disorders.
- Fostering public awareness of pulmonary diseases.
- Promoting health and prevention of diseases and chronic disease complications in general
- Providing research within the pulmonary and chronic pulmonary complication patient groups.
Educational Requirements
- Minimum Education: MD or DO
- Minimum Job Experience: Three-year pulmonary fellowship
- Minimum Certification/Licenses/Registration:
- Board Certified in Pediatrics
- Board Eligible/Board Certified in Pediatric Pulmonology
