A caregiver in this position worksnights, 3:30pm to 11:00pm.


A caregiver who excels in this role will:

  • Perform minor preventive and corrective maintenance of equipment,structuresand systems(e.g.,electrical, plumbing, HVAS,carpentryand/or paint).
  • Document andmaintainrecords ofinspectionand work performed.
  • Work across multiple Cleveland Clinic locations as needed.


Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:

  • HighSchoolDiploma or GED


Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:

  • Work experience inGeneralElectrical,Plumbing,Carpentry,Painting,MechanicalRepair or HVAC OR military experience as aUtilitiesman(UT), Builder(BU), Machinists Mate(MM)or a similar role OR successful completion of an accredited trade school and one year of related experience

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to perform work in a stationary position for extended periods

  • Ability to be mobile for extended periods of time

  • Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information

  • Ability to move/transport items weighing up to or more than 100 pounds (lbs.)

  • Ability to move/transport equipment weighing up to or more than 100 pounds (lbs.)

  • Ability to move/transport carts weighing up to or more than 100 pounds (lbs.)

  • Ability to inspect equipment

  • Ability to install, repair and maintain systems, equipment, fixtures and/or structures

  • Ability to distinguish color

  • Ability to climb ladders ​

Personal Protective Equipment:

  • Follows standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required.

Pay Range

Minimum hourly: $17.25

Maximum hourly: $26.31

The pay range displayed on this job posting reflects the anticipated range for new hires. A successful candidate’s actual compensation will be determined after taking factors into consideration such as the candidate’s work history, experience, skill set and education. The pay range displayed does not include any applicable pay practices (e.g., shift differentials, overtime, etc.).
