A research technician 4 position is available in the lab of Dr. Mark Mitton-Fry. The position will involve the synthesis and characterization of novel bacterial topoisomerase inhibitors as potential therapeutics for multidrug-resistant bacterial infections. It will include the design and execution of experiments in the laboratory, record-keeping in an electronic notebook, and writing up results for publication and patent application.

Required Experience: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience required. Must have 1 year of relevant experience in the synthesis of novel therapeutics.

Desired Experience: PhD in pharmaceutical sciences preferred. Experience in the synthesis of novel bacterial topoisomerase inhibitors

Additional Information:

The pay range for this job profile is $22.93/hour - $29.95/hour. The offer for this position will fall within this range based on internal equity, unit's available budget, and the candidate's qualifications.
