Student Life | Recreational Sports Administration-JMAn ODFM Facility Assistant (FA) is the entry level position for Outdoor Facility Management (ODFM) student staff. FA’s are responsible for providing excellent customer service, supervise parks, enforce park policies, monitor weather and field conditions, check out equipment, oversee events, respond to incidents and accidents, and additional maintenance tasks. An FA’s goal is to provide a clean, safe, and enjoyable atmosphere for all patrons who utilize the three outdoor facilities. Must be proactive, detail oriented, and prepared to solve problems and member issues in a professional manner.
Facility Assistants work shifts at Lincoln Tower Park/Women’s Field House, Coffey Road Recreational Complex, and Fred Beekman Park. Additional shifts as part of the “Work Crew” (field painting, infield dragging, general maintenance, etc.) are available.
