A Day in the Life

Embark on an exciting journey with Medtronic’s Digital Technologies Business Unit, where we are at the forefront of developing cutting-edge technology that provides real-time support to surgeons in the operating room. At Digital Technologies, we are transforming operating room experiences through advanced surgical analysis systems powered by state-of-the-art artificial intelligence.

We are looking for a highly motivated individual contributor to join our team. In this role, you will support financial analysis, strategic planning, and decision-making across the business, working closely with global cross-functional teams to provide insights that support key business priorities.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:

  • Lead financial planning, forecasting, and modelling activities (AOP, LBE, long-range planning), providing insights on business performance, ROI, cash flow, pricing strategies, and commercial pipeline evolution
  • Partner with global cross-functional stakeholders to support strategic decision-making through data-driven analysis, scenario planning, and executive-ready financial presentations
  • Monitor financial and operational performance across business units and geographies, performing variance analysis andidentifyingrisks, opportunities, and improvement areas
  • Develop and enhance financial reporting frameworks, systems, and data integration processes (e.g. SAP, Power BI, OneStream) to enable scalable and efficient planning and reporting
  • Support governance, compliance, and UK legal entity financial oversight, ensuring alignment with internal controls, corporate policies, and regulatory requirements while contributing to cross-functional initiatives

Required Knowledge and Experience:

  • Strong experience in financial planning & analysis, forecasting, and strategic finance within a complex and/or global environment
  • Strong commercial and analytical acumen, with experience in financial modelling, pricing strategies, business cases, and translating complex data into actionable insights
  • Proven ability to lead planning cycles (AOP, long-range planning, forecasting) and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience partnering with senior stakeholders and influencing cross-functional decision-making through clear financial communication
  • Advancedproficiencyin Excel and experience with financial systems and reporting tools such as SAP, Power BI, OneStream, or similar platforms
  • Solid understanding of financial controls, reporting standards, and governance processes; ACA/CA/ACCA qualification is a plus

Pay range / Rango salarial / Intervalo salarial /Fascia retributiva / Tranche de salaire / Gehaltsband / Salaribereik: United Kingdom: 82,400.00 GBP- 123,600.00 GBP|This position is eligible for a short-term incentive called the Medtronic Incentive Plan (MIP).
