Sentara RMH Medical Center is now hiring a full-time, Wound Ostomy Continence Nurse. The Wound, Ostomy, and Continence Nurse (WOCN) is a specialized healthcare professional responsible for providing expert care to patients with complex wounds, ostomies, and continence issues.
Education
- Bachelor's Degree - Nursing (Required)
Certification/Licensure
- CWCN Certified Wound Care Nurse - Certifications - Wound, Ostomy Continence Nursing Certification Board (WOCNCB) - (Required within 1 year of hire)
Experience
- 3 years of acute care nursing experience (Required)
- Wound care experience (Preferred)
- Patient education experience (Preferred)
