Engineering | Career ServicesLeads the design and delivery of career development initiatives for College of Engineering students, applying advanced career coaching and labor-market knowledge to support academic success and post-graduation outcomes, including career counseling, job search tools, and application material preparation to support academic success and employment outcomes. Leads and coordinates COE career events in collaboration with various internal and external organizations, including planning event logistics with venue staff, reviewing registration requests, and marketing events to students and employers. Consults with employers on recruitment best practices, employment opportunities, and effective hiring strategies. Manages daily operations of career services data systems and websites, including reviewing and approving job postings and coordinating employer relations services for recruiters.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in Counseling, Student Personnel, Higher Education, Human Resources, Teaching, Psychology, or related field 4 years of relevant experience required; experience in individual career counseling and workshop facilitation.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Master’s degree in Counseling, Student Personnel, Higher Education, Human Resources, Teaching, Psychology, or related field 4-8 years of relevant experience preferred, Strong written and verbal communication skills; proficiency in standard office software; experience with Handshake or similar career management systems; familiarity with job search and career research resources; knowledge of current employment practices; experience with job search and interview coaching; familiarity with international employment; experience with social media platforms and digital content creation.

Hiring Range: $51,500 - $67,250
The actual salary paid to an individual will vary based on multiple factors, including, but not limited to, education, years of experience, internal equity, etc.
