Schedule: Emergency Department: Wednesday 12pm-6pm, Thursday-Saturday 6am-6pm
As aPatient Access Representative,you willbe thefirst point of contact for patients, ensuring they receivefast, compassionate, andaccurateaccess to care.

WhatYou’llDo:
Provideexceptional customer serviceand assist patients and families with the check-in process, working across multiple computer systems to register patients efficiently
Answer phones and gather accuratepatient information quickly in a fast-paced environment
Supporttimelyaccess to careby minimizing delays in registrationand answering questions with confidence, clarity, and compassion
Build trust with patients during moments when they may be ill, anxious, confused, or overwhelmed
Navigate diverse insurance plans and coverage details, enter demographics and medical data, collectco-pays, and provide cost estimates when applicable
Collaboratewith nurses, physicians, and care teams to ensure smooth patient flow

WhatWe’reLooking For:
Exceptionalcustomer serviceexperience,communication, and interpersonal skills
Strong composureand professionalisminafast-paced environment
Ability tomultitask and prioritize quicklywithhigh attention to detail
Comfortablewith shifting priorities based on patient needs
Experience withpatient access, medical registration, insurance verification, or front deskis a plus (but not required)
High School Diploma or GED
Ability to pass a background check, drug test, and meet vaccination requirements

For this US-based position, the base pay range is $20.48 - $27.54 per hour . Individual pay is determined by role, level, location, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.The healthcare system is always evolving — and it’s up to us to use our shared expertise to find new solutions that can keep up.
