As a Supply Chain Planning Analyst, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the efficiency and success of Intel's global supply chain. This position offers the opportunity to directly influence the optimization of supply chain planning strategies to meet customer demands and drive Intel's business objectives forward.

By leveraging analytical insights and strategic decision-making, you will ensure seamless material management, resolve inventory challenges, and proactively contribute to the execution of supply and demand plans.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and optimize supply chain planning schedules, forecasts, materials, build plans, and capacity requirements to align with customer and business needs.
  • Conduct scenario planning to evaluate engineering, product, process, and inventory strategies and recommend actionable solutions.
  • Resolve inventory challenges by ensuring the efficient flow, depth, and timing of inventory to meet both short-term and long-term objectives.
  • Provide data-driven insights to demand management teams, balancing supply and demand within given constraints.
  • Plan, prepare, issue, and control supply chain schedules and materials requirements, ensuring alignment with organizational demands.
  • Collaborate with suppliers to manage materials effectively, ensuring uninterrupted operations and seamless material flow.
  • Evaluate supply chain capacity and capabilities to support Intel's dynamic business strategies and objectives.

Interface with subcontractors to negotiate pricing, performance, and contracts while maintaining high operational standards.

Qualifications:

Minimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or relevant field such as Business, Engineering, or a related discipline OR 6+ years of experience.

Experience mentioned above must be in:

  • Data analysis tools and techniques, coupled with expertise in supply chain planning systems.
  • Driving supply chain optimization and efficient inventory management solutions.
    Production planning systems and supply-demand analysis.
  • Advanced English level

Must have unrestricted, permanent right to work in Costa Rica (this role is not eligible for visa or immigration sponsorship).

Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates:

  • Master's degree in Supply Chain Management or relevant field such as Business, Engineering, or a related discipline OR 4+ years of experience.
  • PhD in Supply Chain Management or relevant field such as Business, Engineering, or a related discipline OR 2+ years of experience.
  • Experience collaborating across cross-functional teams and influencing key business decisions.
  • Solve complex problems and deliver impactful solutions in fast-paced environments.
  • Knowledge of lean management principles and group problem-solving methodologies.
