Cleveland Clinic’s team of rheumatologists provides patients with expert diagnosis and treatment of autoinflammatory and autoimmune conditions. As an LPN on this team, you willassistfellow caregivers in providing exceptional, top-quality care to a diverse patient population. In this role, you can make a lasting difference in the lives of patients, all while enhancing your nursing skills through hands-on experience andnumerouseducational resources offered within the Cleveland Clinic system.

A caregiver in this position works days from 8:30AM – 5:00PM.

A caregiver who excels in this role will:

• Provide professional nursing care to patients.

• Administer medication.

• Maintain complete andaccuratedocumentation in medical records and files.

• Complete authorization forms and laboratory requisitions.

• Implement pain management assessments and documentation.

• Recognize changes in patients' status and report pertinent information to Charge Nurse or Physicians.

• Educate patients,familiesand others.

• Adhere to the National Patient Safety Goals as outlined by JCAHO.

• Follow Code Blue protocol.

Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:

• Graduate of Accredited LPN program

• Florida Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) or the American Red Cross

• Knowledge of infection control practices

• Experience with technology

• Computer literacy

Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:

• One year of clinical experience
