The Department of Diagnostic Radiology at City of Hope is seeking a Neuroradiologist to join our team as SECTION CHIEF OF NEURORADIOLOGY.

Position Highlights:

Join our nationally recognized team of imaging specialists as we seek to hire a full-time faculty member, under new leadership with new direction and vision for our expanding enterprise.

  • Clinical responsibilities to include neuroradiology imaging predominantly of cancer patients and chronic conditions.
  • Full-time hours working within an established team of radiologists and nurses at a renowned national cancer system.
  • Primarily clinical position with extensive opportunities for research
  • Newly opened multilevel outpatient imaging center with PET/MR, PET/CT, CT, MRI, and US; state of the art equipment at all sites!
  • Relocation assistance is available.
  • Potential for incentive compensation and an excellent benefits package, including a generous retirement contribution plan.
  • BASE Salary Range: $475 – 525K based on rank and experience.The range listed is exclusively for base compensation for full-time employment and does not include incentive compensation or benefits which are substantial. Actual compensation will also be adjusted for experience, training, hospital/community need and other factors.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience as a diagnostic radiologist is preferred.
  • Experienced with plain films, fluoroscopy, CT, MR, and PET
  • Experience working in an academic medical center or specialty cancer center, is definitely preferred.
  • Academic record consistent with appointment as Associate or full Professor, is preferred.
  • The ideal candidate will participate in departmental and collaborative clinical research and have the appropriate academic scholarship.
  • Applicants must have an M.D. or equivalent degree and be board certified in Diagnostic Radiology
  • The selected candidate for the position must be eligible to obtain or already hold an active California medical license.

The estimated pay scale represents the typical [salary/hourly] range City of Hope reasonably expects to pay for this position, with offers determined based on several factors which may include, but not be limited to, the candidate’s experience, expertise, skills, education, job scope, training, internal equity, geography/market, etc. This pay scale is subject to change from time to time.
