Supported by a regional network of care, our 11-acre academic cancer campus in Irvine is home to City of Hope Orange County Lennar Foundation Cancer Center, our outpatient cancer center, and Orange County’s only cancer specialty hospital.

With the opening of the hospital, the full continuum of advanced cancer care—from prevention through survivorship—is available in Orange County for the first time, eliminating the need to travel for lifesaving treatment. Seamlessly connected to our outpatient cancer center, the new clinical research hospital features 73 inpatient beds, advanced surgical suites, groundbreaking clinical trials, and holistic services such as rehabilitative therapy and spiritual care. This isn’t standard cancer care. This is lifesaving cancer care. This is Hope.


The Senior Manager, Clinical Supply & Distribution, is responsible for leading and optimizing the Clinical Supply Chain & Distribution function to ensure efficient, cost-effective, and compliant operations. This role oversees materials management, procurement, logistics, inventory control, and distribution for surgical and medical supplies, ensuring the right products are available at the right time to support patient care. Working closely with executive leadership, this leader drives operational excellence, strategic planning, and performance improvement across supply chain operations.

As a successful candidate, you will:

  • Lead daily operations across receiving, inventory, logistics, and distribution functions
  • Ensure accurate inventory management and maintain efficient materials systems
  • Oversee procurement, forecasting, and delivery of clinical and capital supplies
  • Drive cost containment initiatives and optimize supply chain performance
  • Partner with leadership to develop budgets, track metrics, and improve processes
  • Build, mentor, and lead high-performing supply chain teams
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with clinical and administrative stakeholders
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, safety protocols, and quality programs
  • Manage vendor relationships and support contract negotiations
  • Act as a key liaison for system purchasing, contracts, and operational support

Your qualifications should include:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Management, Operations, Supply Chain, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 5+ years of progressive supply chain, logistics, or operations experience
  • 3+ years of leadership experience developing and managing teams
  • Strong knowledge of healthcare supply chain operations, inventory management, and logistics processes
  • Experience managing surgical/medical supplies and clinical support operations
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
  • Experience with procurement, contracts, and vendor management
  • Excellent communication skills, including presenting to executive leadership

Additional Information:

Job Status: Full time, exempt

Salary range $121,792 - $203,394

City of Hope employees’ pay is based on the following criteria: work experience, qualifications, and work location.

Salary / Pay Rate Information:
Pay Rate: $58.55 - $97.79 / hour
