The Senior Quality Data Analyst is a highly skilled analytics professional passionate about transforming complex healthcare data into meaningful insights. In this role, you will develop reports and dashboards that support clinical and operational decision-making, helping improve patient care, quality outcomes, and organizational performance. You will work with enterprise data systems, applying advanced analytics and data visualization techniques to deliver actionable intelligence to key stakeholders across the organization.
As a successful candidate, you will:
- Analyze large healthcare datasets to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights
- Develop and maintain dashboards, scorecards, and key performance indicators (KPIs)
- Extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from multiple systems into the enterprise data warehouse
- Collaborate with clinical and operational teams to understand business needs and deliver reporting solutions
- Perform data modeling, mapping, and visualization for quality improvement initiatives
- Present findings and recommendations through clear, compelling visual and written communication
- Support data governance, data quality, and performance improvement initiatives
- Leverage benchmarking tools (e.g., Vizient and external datasets) to evaluate performance
- Design and optimize SQL queries, tables, views, and stored procedures
Your qualifications should include:
- Bachelor’s degree in healthcare, business, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of experience in healthcare analytics, informatics, or related field
- Strong SQL expertise including database design, querying, and data manipulation
- Advanced skills in Excel, Access, and data analysis tools
- Experience working with clinical data and healthcare systems preferred
- Proficiency in business intelligence and visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Business Objects, Statit)
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Ability to translate complex data into clear insights for diverse audiences
- Experience with data warehousing, reporting systems, and performance improvement initiatives

Job Status: Full time, exempt
Salary range $93,398 - $144,766

Salary / Pay Rate Information:
Pay Rate: $44.90 - $69.60 / hour
The estimated pay scale represents the typical [salary/hourly] range City of Hope reasonably expects to pay for this position, with offers determined based on several factors which may include, but not be limited to, the candidate’s experience, expertise, skills, education, job scope, training, internal equity, geography/market, etc. This pay scale is subject to change from time to time.
