Our dedicated and compassionate employees are driven by a common mission: To deliver the cures of tomorrow to the people who need them today.

Reporting to the Chief Philanthropy Officer, the Vice President will partner with senior leaders to translate strategic direction and growth plans into enterprise-wide campaigns and initiatives that elevate fundraising performance across the organization. This leader will oversee the operational functions that underpin philanthropic success, including pipeline strategy, data and systems, and program operations—ensuring alignment between philanthropy strategy, enterprise priorities, and execution.

This role requires a forward-thinking strategist and relationship builder who can influence at the highest levels, align complex stakeholders, and drive innovation across a premier, high-performing philanthropy organization.

As a successful candidate, you will:

  • Oversee portfolio management, donor discovery, and moves management to drive fundraising performance
  • Partner with senior philanthropy leaders to align strategy across major, principal, and corporate giving programs
  • Drive operational excellence across philanthropy programs, building scalable processes and infrastructure
  • Oversee data, CRM systems, and analytics to optimize donor engagement and portfolio strategies
  • Champion a donor-centered approach, creating personalized, high-impact donor experiences
  • Partner with clinical, physician, and care teams to grow and optimize the Grateful Patient program, strengthening patient-to-donor conversion and engagement across the system
  • Align philanthropy initiatives with enterprise priorities through multi-year campaigns and strategic initiatives
  • Collaborate with executive leadership, faculty, and stakeholders to translate organizational priorities into actionable strategies
  • Lead and develop high-performing teams, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and innovation

Your qualifications should include:

  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred
  • 15+ years of progressive fundraising leadership experience, ideally in healthcare, research, or complex nonprofit environments
  • Proven success leading large-scale philanthropy programs and comprehensive campaigns
  • Deep expertise across the full fundraising spectrum (annual, major, principal, corporate, foundation, and planned giving)
  • Demonstrated ability to partner with executive leadership, boards, and key stakeholders
  • Experience driving strategic planning, organizational design, and program transformation
  • Strong leadership experience managing and developing high-performing teams
  • Expertise in data-driven decision-making, pipeline management, and fundraising analytics
  • Exceptional communication, relationship-building, and executive presence
